As well as the Prince Henry Community Association, Prince Henry residents are part of the Bay and Beaches Precinct. There are a number of precincts within Randwick municipality which have been set up by Council so residents can get action on issues, meet neighbours and propose ideas with their local councillors to enhance their community.
Local residents in our area are served by the Bays and Beaches Resident’s Precinct which covers La Perouse, Phillip Bay, Prince Henry, Little Bay Cove, Little Bay and South Chifley. Our local councillors are:
- Bill Burst
- Noel D’Souza and
- Danny Said
The Precinct meets every 2 months (see dates below) and our local councillors attend each meeting. So you can catch up with councillors informally before or after each meeting. You can also raise an issue formally at a Precinct Meeting, by emailing the Precinct Secretary at baysbeaches@gmail.com at least 4 weeks prior to the meeting.
Two local residents will co-chair the Bays and Beaches Precinct in 2024. Peter Fagan who has been very active in cleaning up Little Bay beach and establishing bushcare groups in Prince Henry and Chris Hanson who rallied Matraville residents to stop a waste incinerator being built at Matraville.
